Lighthouse of Pinellas is committed to protecting every donor’s or website visitor’s privacy. The purpose of this statement is to detail issues concerning privacy with all online and offline communications.
What information do we collect and how do we use it?
While interacting with us online or offline, we may ask you to give us various pieces of personal information to help us acknowledge donations, process requests for presentations and other related business. The information gathered may include: name, address, telephone number, fax number, and e-mail address. Information about the type of group donating, the number of beneficiaries of the donation, the type of donation (monetary or other), and condition of the donation may also be asked.
It is our policy not to sell, trade, or rent your personal information to anyone nor send donor mailings or e-mails on behalf of other organizations.
Use of all information acquired by Lighthouse of Pinellas is restricted to internal use only. This includes any non-identifying information. Personal information will only be used in an internal database for recording donations, providing donation receipts, sending of our periodic newsletters/appeals, and informing donors and other interested parties of events and needs at Lighthouse of Pinellas. Non-identifying information such as, types of web browser use and types of operating system use will be recorded from our website and social media platforms. E-mail addresses are saved and entered into an internal database. Non-identifying information will be used exclusively for research.
Credit card information collected off our site is encrypted and secure.
