Providing Resources for Individuals and Caregivers

Formed sixty years ago, Lighthouse of Pinellas provides professional, proven training to help people of all ages who may need help adjusting to their vision loss as well as resources and support to their caregivers.

How We Help

Infants and Toddlers

We give parents hope that their child will grow up to have the same opportunities as their sighted peers.

Adults

We teach adults who have lost their sight the skills they need to become self-sufficient and thriving.

Children

We believe every child should be able to fully participate in all activities and feel no limits to what they can become.

Job Training & Placement

We help working-age adults build the skills and confidence they need to reach their dream of self-sufficiency.

Teens

When teens graduate from high school, we want them to be empowered for success in life on their own.
