Dr Ron Tucker, President of the Lighthouse Board of Directors, was honored as a nominee through the Volunteers for Health Recognition Awards given by the Tampa Bay Healthcare Coalition in April.
As a nominee, Dr. Tucker’s many years of service to the vision health of our community was celebrated. He has served as a committee volunteer, board member and Chairman of the Board of Directors (2 terms) here at the Lighthouse of Pinellas.
Dr. Tucker joined the Largo Lions Club in 2003 and has served on every committee of the organization and as Board President. He is also on the Board of Directors of Vision Care, which assists low income individuals with eye exams and more.
Dr. Tucker is a valued community volunteer and has touched thousands of lives through his volunteerism.
