Kandie’s Story
Kandie’s story is one of strength, faith, and determination to reclaim independence. After a series of strokes left her with significant vision loss and brain damage, she turned to Lighthouse of Pinellas for support.
Through Orientation & Mobility training and technology instruction, Kandie gained confidence navigating her community, work, public transportation, and everyday life. Over the last seven years, she has built independence and a renewed sense of possibility.
“You don’t have to walk through darkness alone.”
