Volunteer Opportunities Available
Client Ambassador Volunteer
Greet our adult clients and assist them as they arrive and leave the Lighthouse. Many of our clients travel by public transportation, rideshare services such as Uber or Lyft, or cab services. Client Ambassador Volunteers welcome clients upon arrival, ensuring they safely enter the building, and offer assistance as needed, helping them find classrooms, meeting spaces, The Lantern Store or restrooms. This friendly, hands-on role helps create a warm and accessible environment for everyone who walks through our doors.
Event Volunteers
Are you passionate about spreading awareness and making connections in the community? Event Volunteers play a key role in representing Lighthouse of Pinellas at community and fundraising events throughout the year. Opportunities include supporting our signature events such as the annual Dining in the Dark and White Cane Walk, as well as assisting at local expos and outreach booths across Pinellas County. Whether you’re greeting guests, helping with setup, or sharing information about our mission, your time and energy help shine a light on the vital services we provide.
Day Project Volunteers
Are you a local business, organization, or community group looking for a meaningful way to give back? Day Project Volunteers lend a helping hand through one-day service projects that make a big impact. From light landscaping and painting to refreshing our facility spaces, every effort helps keep Lighthouse of Pinellas a welcoming and accessible environment for all. We’re also open to creative ideas so let’s work together to plan a project that fits your team’s skills and interests!
