The nearly 300 people attending the 2019 Point of Light event at the Hilton in Saint Petersburg, Carillon Park on September 6 were treated to an extra special luncheon.
This year’s Beacon of Light Award went to The Free Family Foundation for their exceptional dedication to research in the area of age-related macular degeneration and for the support they have given to the Lighthouse of Pinellas youth programs over the last 13 years. Thank you to Tom Free for accepting the award on behalf of the Foundation.
The Honorable Judge Joseph Donahey received the 2019 John Wilson Spot Light Volunteer Award presented to him by Jamie Neilson. Judge Donahey was honored for his passionate belief in the mission of the Lighthouse of Pinellas and for the significant impact he has made on the organization and the people we serve.
Thank you to our captivating guest speakers Marisa D’Amore and Richard Salem, Esq. Their heart-warming stories and meaningful messages were truly inspirational.
